I couldn't find the wild service tree in the forest where the london tree walks book said there'd be >:[

they have a great auk at the natural history museum 🐧 imagine if we still had them out in the wild. makes me real sad and angry!

they also have big ol' massive london planes just about everywhere (perhaps in london they're just planes)

we went to the blijdorp zoo and saw lots of drama happening between animals not from the zoo. didn't see the pallas cat, but did see some elusive tiger stripes.

our pickle plant put out a flower 🌼 unexpected :) when I first moved out I had a little pickle plant that didn't make it when I left it in my room over Christmas with the heater blasting. I can't tell if this one is thriving or not but at least it's flowering.
